How to save your self being hack from phishing?

Nowadays phishing is such a common technique which used by the people who learning to hack in very primary stage, And the funniest thing is that they left it after learning the phishing and cookie stealing and some of fake mailing as well. Here we are going to talk about how to save your self from being hacked via phishing .

Phishing is normally and widely use to hack people’s accounts on social networking sites like orkut, facebook , myspace , netlog etc. Sometimes it happen when you are surfing on this kind of sites and suddenly Login page come up to you and asking for username and password , Now this is BUZZ for you check URL of the page if you are using orkut than check on URL first it shout look like

You can see the underlined part if the login page is original of google’s / orkut you can find URL like above. You must check the sub domain portion here like www.google.com/…… Etc like this and

You can see that check out its sub domain it might like orkut.freehostanyone.com like this you can see its root domain is not google one beware of login there . If you going to login there than your account id and password will go to its creator or owner of that fake page than your personal information can be stolen , can be used wrong and you can also face unexpected modification .

This thing is also work in case of other sites like facebook,my space .Dont forget to check its url before any accidental login page. You can also use software for pass most of this kind of phishing attempts (not all) Norton Internet Security which came with meter in browser its showing alert in browser for phishing site/page .The nowadays other browsers also came with this kind of ability. But remember to be careful while surfing .happy surfing
